ABOUT CHUNKY
Started in 2009 Chunky is Sydney’s number one bear dance party featuring the finest local and overseas dance music DJs.
Organised by the Harbour City Bears (HCB), an inclusive not-for-profit community group for hairy gay men, their admirers and friends, the party is popular for its “chunky” music and “chunky” men.
Based in Sydney, Australia, and founded in 1995, HCB run events with everyone welcome regardless of sex, sexuality, age or hirsuteness, in line with the club’s ideals – about having fun and participating in the community.
